The Following individuals are the primary research and production team members for The Transpersonal Cinema Project:

 

LEAD CINEMATIC RESEARCHER

Mark Allan Kaplan, Ph.D. is an internationally acclaimed award-winning filmmaker, and a transformational media arts consultant and researcher. His creative works have been shown on cable television, in theaters, schools, and colleges, and at film expositions around the world. He has worked as a producer, director, writer, and editor on industrial, educational, short subject, and feature films and videos. Mark has a B.A. in Motion Picture Production from the University of Southern California School of Cinema and Television; an M.F.A. in Motion Picture Directing from the American Film Institute; and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. He has conducted and published research on the transpersonal dimensions of the cinema and the experience of divine guidance across religious traditions and cultures; and was awarded the Integral Institute's Integral Life Award for his research on the application of integral theory for cinematic media development, production, and distribution. RESEARCH AND PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Sarah Salkin-Kaplan is an event and project coordinator. She has coordinated art and medical research projects, and social events in both the United States and Europe. Sarah has a degree in medical technology from the University of Chicago, and degrees in art and art history from the Art Institute of Chicago and The Sorbonne in Paris.
